    PEACE LINES

    Welcome

Our reason for existence is to contribute to the return of peace in war zones and the reinforcement of coexistence in danger zones - the non-violent approach is our choice, our method for conflict resolution. Since October 2000 we have been working in Israel-Palestine, at the hinge of civilizations, with the tools developed during our missions in Bosnia (1993-1996) and in Algeria (1997-1998) :

    - programmes of education in non-violent alternatives and constructive coexistence (Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Mandela...)

    - campaigns with Nobel laureates worldwide and Members of the European Parliament calling for cease-fire & negotiations for a just and lasting peace.

Article 2 of our statutes : Our objective is to convey and spread messages and texts for peace between human beings, cities, peoples. Among these texts to reinforce the critical mind and a sense of belonging to a human non-exclusive community - in chronological order :  Descartes, Milton, La Fontaine, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Thoreau, Tolstoy, Gandhi, Giono, Orwell, Saint-Exupéry, Martin Luther King, Richard Bach, Bob Dylan, the Dalai Lama, Wangari Maathai, Toni Morrison, Van Morrison, Muhammad Yunus, Amos Oz, Yasmina Khadra, Malala, Leymah Gbowee...

The most dynamic part of this site is in the "Media - Must Read" section where you will find a daily selection of the most precise articles, from all sources, upon the situation in Israel - Palestine, with the Newsletters.

Why this tiny speck of land between Eurasia and Africa ? It is still acts as a thermostat to the globe.

If Peace Lines were through music only, it could be called Playing For Change. "United" is what we're about. Enjoy...
